What Makes this event different?
Postcards will become the property of the Imago Foundation for the Arts, and at the close of the exhibit IFA will contribute the cards to the permanent collection of a regional arts or cultural organization. When this transaction is complete, each artist will be notified so they may list it on your resume.
Copyright Policy
the artist/photographer maintains the copyright ownership of the images submitted.
Image Usage Rights
images will be posted on the organizations website as a slide show. And IFA may use images as part of the galleries promotional materials with credits to the artist.

A CALL FOR MAIL ART
POSTCARDS become Art
Content of the artwork is open to interpretation of the theme
“Wish You Were Here”
On View March 5 through June 13, in the gallery and online
- Send us your artwork on a postcard. The only restriction is your own imagination
- Art forms can include the following: Drawing, Painting, Stamping, Collage, Poetry, Song Lyrics, Mixed Media, etc. The project is open for anyone who would like to participate (over the age of 18).
- The goal of this call is for individuals to create work independently or for artists to collaborate with other artists, establishing connections by working together.
- Once received, the postcards will become the property of the Imago Foundation for the Arts, and at the closing of the exhibit, IFA plans to contribute the cards to the permanent collection of a regional arts or cultural organization. When this transaction is complete, each artist will be notified so you may list it on your resume.
DEADLINE - All submissions must be postmarked by February 22nd or earlier.
· The Submission process is a two-step process. Mail your postcard to the gallery and complete the online submission form: Wish You Were Here!
- All work must be original and on a 4”x6” postcard
- A submission fee of $10 must be paid on the online portal. Additional entries @ $5 per entry, maximum 10 entries
- The submitting artist must be at least 18 years old
- Please be sure to PRINT your name, your return address and the title of work on the reverse of the card and address it to Imago, PO Box 77, Warren, RI 02885
