What Makes this event different?

The TARTGET PRIZE International Painting Competition is inviting artists worldwide to participate in its first edition. This important art competition is dedicated to promoting art and creating opportunities for emerging artists while consolidating the reputations of distinguished painters. With over €50,000 in cash prizes and international recognition awards through partnerships with magazines, galleries, fine art materials, and art scholarships, there are more than 50 prizes in total. There are 10 categories to enter works into: 1. Urban and Industrial Landscape, 2. Natural and Outdoor Landscape, 3. Animals and Wildlife, 4. Drawing and Illustration, 5. Still Life and Everyday Objects, 6. Figure and Portrait, 7. Fantasy and Imaginative, 8. Conceptual and Collage, 9. Abstraction, and a special category for teenagers. Works in all styles are accepted, including hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism, imaginative realism, fantastic realism, surrealism, impressionism, expressionism, plein air painting, contemporary, abstraction, and any other type of representative painting Target Prize is a prestigious international painting competition celebrating its first edition, offering over $55,000 in prizes. Sponsored by some of the world's leading fine art brands, it features a distinguished jury composed of renowned painters, gallerists, collectors, art critics, and international curators. PARTICIPANTS The competition is open to painters from all over the world and welcomes all techniques and styles across various categories. Target Prize will award prizes in 10 categories, ranging from figurative art to abstract and conceptual works, including pieces in hyperrealism, impressionism, surrealism, and abstraction. BENEFITS AND AWARDS Over $45,000 in cash prizes and 50 additional awards in art materials, training, and gallery and media promotion will be distributed. In total, more than $55,000 will be awarded: Best of Show: $12,000 Second Overall Prize: $6,000 Third Overall Prize: $4,000 Fusion Target Four Places Award: $4,000 Acquisition Prizes: $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, and $4,000 Best in Category: $500 After selecting the 200 finalists, the organization, alongside an additional panel of on-site jurors, will determine the works to be included in the grand physical exhibition. This exhibition will take place in Madrid, Spain, from June 5 to 12, at the historic Ateneo de Madrid building, located near the Prado Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, where most of the winners will be announced. ENTRY FEE The registration fee for the competition is $51 for the first artwork and $31 for each additional artwork or different category. For participants under 25 years old, the fee for the first artwork is $36 and $16 for each additional piece. Participants must register on the website: www.targetpaintingprize.com, submit three JPG-format photographs (up to 10 MB each), and pay the registration fee. DEADLINE The submission deadline is February 15.

PARTICIPANTS

Open to painters worldwide, the competition welcomes all techniques and styles across various categories. TARGET will award prizes in 10 categories, ranging from figurative to abstract and conceptual art, accepting works from hyperrealism to impressionism, surrealism, and abstraction.

BENEFITS AND PRIZES

Over $45,000 in cash prizes and 50 additional awards in art supplies, training, and promotion in galleries and specialized media will be distributed. In total, more than $55,000 in rewards.

ENTRY FEE

The entry fee is $53 for the first artwork and $32 for each additional artwork or different category. For participants under 25 years old, the fee is $37 for the first artwork and $16 for each additional one.
