Copyright Policy
The copyright of the Works during and after the exhibition remains with the Artist. GGOP does not have the right to make use of or bestow the high definition files or the prints of the Works that will be used for the realization of the exhibition. The royalties of the Works are not bestowed to The GGOP at any time. The copyright of the Works remains in the creators and in them alone.
Image Usage Rights
Artists grant GGOP the right to use their images to promote the exhibition, for display GGOP webpage and for inclusion On Instagram, twitter and facebook. The GGOP reserves the right to print your image in a size and on paper type to a style in keeping of the exhibition it is entered into.
The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running an exhibition in September called Shape.
Along with capturing light and shadow, photography is a great way to capture and explore shape. The shape created with a silhouette can be what makes an image, or what can make an architectural photography stand out. So for this exhibition we want to see how to you explore the theme of shape in your work.
Shape is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images.
Photographers can submit up to 8 images that meet the theme. Submissions are FREE, but there will be a participation fee of £48.00 if your work is selected.
Those selected will have their work displayed in an exhibition in our gallery, with their work also appearing online in an online gallery on our website.
We accept work from both emerging and established photographers.
The deadline for this exhibition: 18th April 2025
- Choose up to 8 images that are 300ppi and 3000 Pixels minimum on the shortest side.
- Name your image files with your name e,g Firstname-Surname1, Firstname-Surname2, etc
- Make sure your images are JPEG files.
- Send your 1 - 8 files using either Wetransfer or Dropbox (which are free to use) to our submission email address submissions@glasgowgalleryofphotography.com.
