Photography contest: The Portrait
No matter the genre there’s a always power in a well-captured portrait. Whether candid, environmental, studio or posed, self or pet, black-and-white, color, alternative process or digital, a portrait can cause us to smile, comfort us, unnerve us or move us to tears. Portraits have the capacity to connect us all through shared encounters.
Our PORTRAITS contest is an opportunity for you to pause and review your photography, and then join our international community of photographers to share your portraits with our distinguished judges. All winning images will be showcased on The Workshops online gallery. The Grand Prize alone is worth over $3,000 and there are other terrific prizes as well.
