What Makes this event different?
The residency was created in support and commitment to UNESCO’s Ocean Decade. What’s in store: * Virtual Mentorship: Participate in five virtual sessions with experienced mentors from Moku Art Studio and @mangoresidencia. * Theme Exploration: Develop your projects inspired by the theme of the Ocean, exploring a wide range of approaches—technical, conceptual, reflective, and experiential. * Creative Development: Receive insightful feedback and guidance to refine your ideas, techniques, and creative vision. * Global Exposure: Showcase your work at a Virtual Open Studio and Exhibition Inauguration, connecting with art enthusiasts and fellow creators worldwide.
MANGO Residencia para Artistas, in collaboration with Moku Art Studio, proposes a program where the objective is: a shared virtual exploration with and among artists to create a personal project that will have a virtual exhibition, connecting us with the ocean.
In support and commitment to: UNESCO's Ocean Decade.
The program offers the possibility of embarking on an international experience of exchange, focus reflection, and work. The creative process is enriched through shared experience.
Virtual residencies offer artists the chance to expand their global presence without leaving home. They provide unique opportunities to showcase work internationally, something that may have taken years or been difficult to access before. Artists can stay in their own environment while connecting with peers worldwide, fostering collaboration, dialogue, and creative growth. We look forward to receiving applications and works that recognize the vital importance of our oceans, as we continue to explore new artistic possibilities in a flexible, supportive setting.
