Call for Entries 'Abstract & Surrealistic Worlds'

The Stanisonne Art Gallery is an international contemporary online art gallery, that is based in Berlin. The gallery is calling talented artists from around the world, no matter their level of experience or background, to explore art beyond reality and apply to participate in our new 2D and 3D virtual exhibition ‘Abstract & Surrealistic Worlds’.

Abstract and surrealistic art both have a shared philosophy that pushes the boundaries of reality, challenges the traditional representations in art, and goes beyond the typical limits. Diving into a deeper, often untouched realm of thought and emotion, into the subconscious mind, creating art that speaks to the hidden dimensions of the mind.

Abstract art gives artists the freedom to express their feelings and ideas without the need to depict directly things or scenarios, giving the observer the freedom of personal and emotional interpretation.

Whereas, surrealistic art may use realistic forms and shapes, but often in an illogical, fantastic way, exploring the subconscious and challenging reality to create dreamlike worlds, giving the observer a space for imagination to flourish.

We invite artists to share their abstract and surrealistic perceptions of the world.

 

Deadline: 9 May 2025

Exhibition duration: 28 May – 9 July 2025

Even after the end, the exhibition will be available on our website permanently.

Application is free.

You may submit 1 to 10 artworks and we may choose up to 6 artworks to participate.

There is a one-time selection fee of 36€. Only for the selected artists.
