Add to Favorites Report Listing

Event History

DYV began in 2024 as an extension of HiFi’s commitment to the creative community. What started as a single contest has expanded into a seasonal, year-round call for art, offering 20 artists per year the opportunity to showcase their work on HiFi’s limited-edition flower bags. The contest has gained strong momentum, attracting artists from diverse backgrounds and creative disciplines.

What Makes this event different?

Define Your Vibe is a unique art competition that takes creativity beyond the gallery, putting selected works directly into people’s hands. Winning designs are featured on thousands of HiFi’s product bags, offering artists unparalleled real-world exposure beyond social media and traditional exhibits. Open to 2D artwork across various mediums, DYV celebrates authentic creative expression, emphasizing the artistic process and inspiration.

Copyright Policy

Artists retain full ownership of their submitted work. By entering the contest, selected artists grant HiFi a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the artwork for contest promotions and related marketing materials. This ensures that artists maintain the rights to their work while allowing HiFi to showcase it in the intended format.

Image Usage Rights

Submitted images will be used strictly for contest promotion and product packaging. Selected artwork will appear on HiFi’s seasonal flower bags, distributed nationwide, and may also be featured in promotional materials such as social media posts, digital marketing, and HiFi’s website. Wherever possible, HiFi will provide full credit to the artist.

Why HiFi?

HiFi was built at the intersection of art, music, and self-expression. With a background in recording and creative industries, our founder Chris Macek understands how critical visibility and fair compensation are for artists. This contest is not a gimmick—it’s a real opportunity to get work seen, paid for, and appreciated.

Each season, we select five artists whose work will be printed on HiFi’s limited-run flower bags, ensuring that your art doesn’t just exist in pixels—it becomes something physical, tangible, and widely seen.
