
Event History
Camera USA® is a national competition created by the Naples Art Association is now in its 9th year. It was created to inspire and encourage photographers working at all skill levels and from all regions of the United States. Prior Camera USA® National Photography Award Winners are Christer Berg of Raleigh, North Carolina in 2018; Brian Malloy of Plympton, Massachusetts in 2017; Art David of Naples, Florida in 2016; Kathleen Brennan of Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico in 2015; Brett Grandson of Duluth, Minnesota in 2014, Tony Hertz of Pismo Beach, California in 2013; Jon Malis of Washington D.C. in 2012 and David E. Wensel of Geneva, Illinois in 2011.
What Makes this event different?
Camera USA® includes a competition conducted virtually which results in an actual photography exhibition existing in real space and time and cash awards for up to six photographers.
Copyright Policy
Copyrights remain with the photographer. There will be up to 80 photographers invited to exhibit the one photograph each photographer entered for Camera USA® 2019. Images of the photographs invited for the exhibition may be used by the Naples Art Association to promote the exhibition and future Naples Art Association programs.
Image Usage Rights
The photographer maintains copyright ownership.
Call to photographers to participate in the 9th competition.
Up to 80 photographers will be invited to exhibit one photograph each that was entered for Camera USA® 2019.
Images selected for the exhibition may appear on the Naples Art Association's website, in electronic newsletters, on social media and in printed materials, that the Naples Art Association publishes in order to promote its programs.
Images of the invited photographers may also appear in local and regional media to promote the exhibition.
Local and regional media may include newspapers, magazines, television, websites and printed materials promoting tourism such as rack cards and brochures.
