Event History
Visions of Self was created by two female artists during the pandemic when in-person art shows were suspended. Each year, we receive entries from women all over the world, showing the unique perspective of female artists about themselves and their state of being.
What Makes this event different?
This is an online show, which gives you exposure to an international audience. Each piece is accompanied with your Vision Statement about your work. It's a way to give a voice to women across the world.

Call for Entries for Female Artists
The 5th Annual Visions of Self is an international juried art exhibition for female artists.
The show is open to all artists who identify as female, with work accepted in all media. No shipping required. Visions of Self exhibits online at MettaGallery.com beginning March 1, 2025.
"Visions of Self" can include self-portraits, work depicting your environment, your emotions, or state of being. Work must be your own, and each artist will have the opportunity to add a Vision Statement that will be displayed along with your piece.

Entry Deadline: January 31, 2025
Notification of Acceptance: by February 10, 2025
Show begins March 1st, 2025 to coincide with Women’s History Month. Ribbons announced on March 1st.
