Art call for artists.
The Concept Space welcomes submissions for it's Winter Salon. This is an open exhibition that aims to provide an opportunity for artists to take part in a curated showcase. This exhibtion is part of an initiative to break the gallery's programme of exhibitions opening the platform to other artists as good independent spaces have become ever more scarce in London.
Artists who are working in drawing, painting, printing, photography, video, installation, recorded performance, digital art, sculpture, mixed media, including textiles works, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, mosaic, and paper or other unique mediums are encouraged to submit.
The exhibition theme set by the curator is "Power Play". The theme is meant to explore the power of density of one material over another, one colour over another, one texture over another, a movement over another or the juxtaposition of one shape, form or image to another to create, influence or suggest contrasting impact. It is the power of one element or series of elements to provoke a certain reaction or response.
